A Sample Memory Album

Below is the beginning of a sample memory album for U.S. President Abraham Lincoln. When you begin a Memory Album you will be asked to fill out the details of the life of the deceased as is shown below. When you create a new Memory Album, you become a Memory Keeper. As a Memory Keeper you write a Life Story and upload photos and videos of your friend or family member, and can invite others to join in the celebration of this person’s life through secure email.

A Sample Memory Vault

In the Memory Vault you will have access to everything within Memories.com that relates to you in one way or another. Your Memory Vault contains remembrances from all of the people who knew and loved the person you are honoring and contributed something to Memories.com. With stories, photos and videos, and interactions within the community, the Memory Vault becomes a lifelong memorial of your loved one.

Stories

In addition to the Life Story which is created by a Memory Keeper and appears next to the photo of the deceased at the beginning of a Memory Album, other visitors to the site will have an opportunity to tell their stories about the deceased. What was his or her favorite hobby? Did he or she have a secret passion? Did you share a special moment? By creating a story you can let others know about the beautiful times you shared and things that made this person dear to you.

Photos & Videos

Tell stories from a lifetime using pictures and videos of birthday parties, graduations, anniversaries, and other momentous occasions. Nothing brings back memories like visual and graphic images.

Privacy

Memories.com enables friends, family and peers of the departed to share their memories in forms of photos, comments and allows us to see our loved ones from other people’s perspectives in our own Memory Vault. The Memory Keeper decides how public or private the Album is and who is permitted to share it.
